Benicia PD Police Officers’ Association Help Vallejo Teen

In late September, Corporal Keffer of the Benicia Police Department noticed 18-year-old Jourdan Duncan walking alone late at night and learned that he has to walk 2 hours each way to and from work. Touched by his drive and determination, the Benicia Police Officers’ Association bought Duncan a bike. Now, they have gone a step further and created a GoFundMe campaign so he can get closer to achieving his goals.

Duncan lives in Vallejo and commutes almost 5 hours a day to work so he can earn money for college; his dream is to become a California Highway Patrol officer. The Benicia Police Department and Police Officers’ Association were approached by many members of the community from across the country who wanted to help Duncan.
