Cartier Women’s Initiative Awards

The global competition, launched in 2006 by Cartier in conjunction with the Women's Forum, McKinsey & Co. and INSEAD business school, was set up to identify, support and encourage projects by female entrepreneurs in their most vulnerable phase – women entrepreneurs starting-up.

Since their establishment in 2006, the Awards have supported over 125 promising female business-owners and given recognition to a further 38 Laureates.

From a shortlist of 18, six Laureates globally, one from each region, received the Cartier Women’s Initiative Award, along with $20,000 in funding, a full year of coaching, lifetime access to the Cartier Women’s Initiative Awards community and unique networking and visibility opportunities.
