Farm Heroes Saga

King, the creator of the new game Farm Heroes Saga, commissioned a global survey. In it they asked several nationalities their opinion of Country versus City life. The findings prompted King to launch a global campaign encouraging more city dwellers to ‘Be a Farm Hero’ and try a bite-sized portion of farming as a way of switching off from chaotic city living.

As a result, major cities like London, New York, Madrid and Paris have been transformed into miniature pop-up farms for one day only – bringing an oasis of country tranquillity to the doorsteps of city folk. Ambassadors for the Global Farm Campaign include: farm owner and Blur musician Alex James, actress Jamie Lynn Sigler, television personality Vanessa Lachey, US Landscape Designer Rebecca Cole, Spanish gardening expert Iñigo Segurola and King Games Guru Tommy Palm.
People were surveyed in Madrid, London, France, Germany and the USA. The results:

For those in Madrid, life is even more stressful than in London with 73.1% of respondents saying they found city and urban living stressful, compared to 60.9%. In the US, half (49.1%) of Americans said they forget to take a break from their
day because they are so busy. A massive 91.1% of respondents in Germany thought there should be more community
gardens, city farms and rooftop gardens in cities and urban areas. In France, three quarters (76.6%) said constant distraction from noise (e.g. traffic) and other people was a negative aspect of city and urban living.
