Happy Birthday James Wolk?

James Wolk is well-known to television audiences for his portrayal of Douglas Hammond in the Golden Globe-nominated mini-series “Political Animals,” opposite Sigourney Weaver. Previously, Wolk received critical acclaim for his starring role in the series “Lone Star” and was most recently seen on the award-winning series “Mad Men” as well as the role of Zach Cropper on “The Crazy Ones,” on the Network.

Wolk’s additional television credits “Happy Endings,” “Shameless” and the Hallmark Hall of Fame television movie “Front of the Class,” also on the Network.

His feature film credits include “You Again,” “There’s Always Woodstock” and “For a Good Time, Call,” which premiered at the 2012 Sundance Film Festival. His theater credits include the West Coast production of the Tony Award-nominated show “Next Fall” at the Geffen Playhouse.

A native of Farmington Hills, Mich., Wolk graduated from the University of Michigan’s drama school. Inspired by the subject matter of “Front of the Class,” Wolk is currently on the Board of Directors for the Brad Cohen Tourette’s Foundation and volunteers at Camp Twitch and Shout, a summer camp for children with Tourette’s Syndrome.
