Former fly girl Jenny from the block reaches the stars.
On Thursday June 17th, 2013 Jennifer Lopez was honored with star number 2500 on Hollywood’s Walk of Fame. Her flawless complexion was complemented by the cashmere and satin ensemble created by Dior Couture.
A swarm of reporters and photojournalists along with a few hundred well-wishers/ fans gathered to witness the special honor. J Lo alongside her mother, children and former and present beaus were present for the placed star bearing her
I got there before the crowd and took some behind the scenes photos of the star being placed and made ready for the special day. I was amazed how many people were involved in the operation from security guards to the police officers to the hotel staff and construction workers who actually made the placing of the star happen. There is no shortage of employment in Hollywood.
As she made her exit toward the interview area, she took time to interact with the crowd and sign mementos. My daughter had her hat signed. I was taken aback by how beautiful she is up close and in person.
