Fashion In A New Light SF

Macy’s Passport Presents Glamorama made its final stop this year in San Francisco on September 19, 2013 with a spectacular show featuring nine time Grammy Award winner Sheryl Crow and iHeart Radio’s Rising Star Winners – The Summer Set. The Orpheum Theatre hosted a fashion show by top designers as well as a performance by the world famous Cirque du Soleil.

The beneficiaries for this event include the Aids Emergency Fund, GLIDE and Project Open Hand. Since their founding in 1982, the Aids Emergency Fund has provided over $30M in emergency financial assistance to people battling HIV and AIDS. For 50 years, the reverend Cecil Williams’ GLIDE ministry has served the poor and disenfranchised in San Francisco by providing free meals, free or low-cost healthcare and other programs aimed at breaking the cycle of poverty. Project Open Hand is a non-profit organization that provides meals to the sick and elderly in the San Francisco and Alameda counties.

Fashion in a New Light was the theme for this year’s event. Dramatic lighting shown on models clad in custom creations from top designers like Calvin Klein, Tommy Hilfiger and Diesel. The after party was held at the Asian Art Museum complete with food and beverages provided by:
