Flowing evening gowns, colorful national costumes and beauty from across the globe reigned Saturday night in Philippines as the country’s capital hosted Miss Universe 2016 with an evening fit for a queen.
As the evening came to a close, the Philippines’ Pia Wurtzbach relinquished the Miss Universe crown and placed it upon Miss France. Iris, who was born in Lille in the Nord Pas de Calais region in northern France, is a dental student in Dental Surgery.
Top 3 Finals of the Miss Universe 2017 is Andrea Tovar from Colombia, Iris Mittenaere from France and beautiful Raquel Pelissier from Haiti (The second runner-up was Miss Colombia, Andrea Tovar, while second place went to Miss Haiti, Raquel Pélissier).
In a question and answer portion, the beautiful Haitian Pelissier has called the empowerment of women and talk about the strength of the women in her country. Meanwhile, Miss Colombia stressed the importance of education and the way young people access to good role models. Miss Colombia also believe that women can take on the role of good men.
Miss France is currently the dental students. She hopes to start a career in this field in the future. She also loves to cook and believe in the love and passion of her country.
