Mr. Worldwide Dropped Into The Shoreline

Image & Style Magazine

Mr. Worldwide’s Warrior Tour dropped into the Shoreline Auditorium on June 14th.

Ke$ha opened with an hour of her top hits and some new songs. I was not familiar with her music but was distinctly surprised by her performance, her vocals and a physical act. As an adult I thought her lyrics were fine but some of the songs had me wishing my 11 year old were not in the next seat.

When Pitbull took the stage he brought the crowd to their feet. I don’t think anyone needed a chair for the rest of the night. His energetic performance is clean and fun for the entire family. Dancing grandmothers to small children pulsed to the infectious Latin rhythms. The music ranged between old school hard rock and classic hip-hop and a couple Spanish numbers for his local Latino fans. Reasonable ticket prices make Pitbull’s concerts a bargain for the quality of the show, and doable for a family on a budget.

Thank you Pitbull – can’t wait until you return to the Bay Area. By the way, we would love to feature you in our magazine.
