Products included: the Hyperdunk 2014 , Air Jordan XX9, as well as the USA and Spanish Federation uniforms. The 16 Baddest basketball players have been recruited to play in Barcelona at WBF, as part of the “Search for the Baddest.”

The Nike World Basketball Festival 2014 will take place in Barcelona Sept  6 through September 7. Thousands of young basketball players from Spain and across Europe unite in one of the world’s most celebrated basketball cities.

The  Moll de la Bosch i Alsina (Port Vell) which is in the old port area of the city, will host the Nike World Basketball Festival 2014.  Featured will be members of the 2014 USA Basketball Men’s National Team as they compete in the 2014 FIBA World Cup. Athletes will participate in youth skills clinics, community events and retail appearances whilst in the city.

The festival will also welcome basketball players from Nike’s “Search for the Baddest” digital campaign, launched earlier this year for athletes everywhere to submit their baddest moves and earn their place in the Barcelona Finals of the World’s Baddest Pick-up Game on Sept. 7.

Off the court, visitors to the Nike World Basketball Festival can experience a host of basketball related activities including an open-air screening of “Doin’ it in the Park,” a documentary on NYC streetball by legendary director Bobbito Garcia and Kevin Couliau, as well as a hip-hop party on Saturday evening featuring some of the biggest acts in music.

Back on court at the Search for the Baddest Final on Sunday evening, fans can witness dunk contents, celebrity shootouts with legends from the game and a showcase of streetball, before the Baddest basketball players are crowned in Barcelona.

“We are excited to bring the World Basketball Festival back to the city of Barcelona,” said Michael Jackson, Nike Vice President and General Manager of Global Basketball. “Nike, Jordan Brand and USA Basketball are committed to growing the global game of basketball by drawing inspiration from the game’s greatest players, fans and communities.
