[:en]Born in India in 1967, Vineet grew up in a middle-class family in Bombay (now Mumbai). He initially had his heart set on the skies, not the kitchen. But failing the medical brought his dreams of becoming a pilot crashing down to earth. In retrospect, it was the best thing that could have happened to him, as he then turned his attention to food.[:]
