Valentines Super Love Jam

Once again the Pacific Music Group brought together 9 incredible artists all under one roof for one amazing evening of music and memories. The SAP Center in San Jose was feeling the love when it played host to The Valentines Super Love Jam. Starting off the evening were The Persuaders. Dressed in matching white suits, they brought the crowd to party mode with her hit songs Thin Line Between Love and Hate. Bringing the love and also warming up the crowd was The Temprees with their smooth hit Love Can Be So Wonderful. Their well choreographed routine was highlighted by their matching white suits with red vests. The Loveliyes came out looking fabulous. She was definitely a crowd pleaser singing her hits This Love Is Real and You’ve Hurt Me Now. With the partying crowd at SAP fully warmed up they brought out Eddie Holman. Dressed in an electric pink tailored suit, he was easy to spot even from the cheap seats. He sang Since I Don’t Have You and his big hit Hey There Lonely Girl, to which everyone was seen singing to as well. It was true pleasure to see one of my favorites duo from the 80’s, Peaches and Herb perform all their big hits such as Shake Your Groove Thing, I Pledge My Love and of course Reunited. The love was strong with these two as they sang and held each other throughout their performance. Herb even serenaded Peaches on one knee. That was a hard act to follow but The Delfonics did just that. The memories started flooding back when they performed Didn’t I Blow Your Mind and La La Means I Love You. The Moments created magic and made the evening special with their hits Special Lady and Love On A Two Way Street. The also performed under the name Ray, Goodman & Brown. Bringing the love, boogie and the groove was what Heatwave does best.  Who can forget their hits Groove Line, Boogie Nights and Always And Forever. GQ brought on the energy and excitement to keep the audience on their feet their his entire performance. Singing and dancing to all his big hits such as Disco Night, Sitting In The Park and I Do Love You he brought smiles to all. Headlining the show was the legendary Whispers. The sold out crowd at SAP in full party mode as they danced and sang to hits such as It’s A Love Thing, Rock Steady and And The Beat Goes On. Being at The Valentines Super Love Jam concert was like being on a 3+ hour trip back to the 80’s and 90’s to relive the past for just one evening. If you missed this show, you’ll get another chance at a blast from the past when The Pacific Music Group returns to SAP on July 13, 2019 for the Freestyle Explosion. See you there.
