Variety Breakthrough Of The Year Awards
America’s Got Talent’s Nick Cannon, hosted This years Variety Breakthrough of the Year Awards, it was held in partnership with the Consumer Electronics Association.
Variety’s “Breakthrough of the Year” award winners included Kristen Bell, who took home the Breakthrough Award For Film. Amy Schumer, received the Breakthrough: Comedy Award. 43-year-old comedic actor, writer, Will Forte, took was honored with Variety’s 2014 Breakthrough Actor Award. Olivia Munn was presented with the Breakthrough Actress Award. Performer Janelle Monáe received the Breakthrough award in music, and performed a six-song set. Other winners included, Nick Cannon, Vine founders Dom Hofmann and Colin Kroll, Skylar Grey, Erica Oyama, Paul Sheer, June Diane Raphael, Alejandro Agag ”
Technology winners included, The Breakthrough: Emerging Technology); Web series “Burning
Love” (Breakthrough: Internet Sensation) and CBS’ “Under the Dome” (Breakthrough: Television).
And Audi was awarded honors for most buzzed about technology at CES.
