World-class football tight end, Vernon Davis of the San Francisco 49ers, began his new business venture today with the opening of his first Jamba Juice store at 3942 Rivermark Plaza in Santa Clara, CA.
If this store proves to be a success, MR. Davis has negotiated his option to open two additional stores in the Santa Clara Area.
MR. Davis’s initial interest came about from being a consumer of Jamba Juice products. He appreciated the use of fresh, quality and healthful ingredients, which support his continuing interest in health and fitness.

The COO of Jamba Juice, Mr. Bruce Schroder, assisted MR. Davis with the cutting the of the ribbon and spoke about how their partnership came to fruition. MR. Davis spoke briefly then was gifted with his monogramed Jamba Juice apron. Shortly thereafter, Mr Davis could be seen behind the counter hard at work preparing his favorite Jamba juice drink. “ Peach”
One wall of the store is dedicated to Mr. Davis life from childhood through his football career. Hi former teammate and friend Mr. Dashon Goldston stopped by to wish him well and signed the stores mural artwork.
Mr. Davis signed autographs and took photo with the staff and with the days first costumers.
