2016 Napa Valley Film Festival’s Full List of Awards

The Napa Valley Film Festival (NVFF) commended its exceptionally expected sixth anniversary on November 9-13. The social event of film, nourishment, and wine at the most dramatic time of year showcased more than 120 new autonomous movies and studio sneak previews in various scenes all through the pleasant towns of Napa, Yountville, St. Helena and Calistoga. Participants associated with more than 300 movie producers at screenings and delighted in a list of occasions including industry boards, wine samplings, culinary demos, winemaker suppers, Celebrity Tributes, and the Awards Ceremony and Gala.

The pair sets off on a stunning adventure to find gold in the unknown wildernesses of Indonesia.

The celebration began with the premiere night screening of The Weinstein Company’s Lion featuring Dev Patel, Nicole Kidman, Rooney Mara, David Wenham and Priyanka Bose. The directorial debut a big appearance by Australian Garth Davis, in view of a true story about Saroo Brierley’s adventure from his diary A Long Way Home, had the audience in tears. Dev Patel got an overwhelming applause when he entered the phase to take an interest in a post-screening Q&A.

The Charles Krug Legendary Filmmaker Award went to Lee Daniels, who brought along his great companion Cuba Gooding Jr. Kurt Russell received the Charles Krug Legendary Actor award with his child Wyatt Russell in attendance.

Matthew McConaughey was given the Caldwell Vineyard Maverick Actor Tribute. Before the service, McConaughey’s exceptionally anticipate film Gold screened for celebration supporters. He was joined by his wonderful spouse, Camilla Alves.

Each of the celebration champs got an extensive wine bottle from one of the celebration’s Vintner Circle winery partners.
