“Fashion Week” is a fashion festival held twice each year in the world’s top fashion cities. On display are the trends for the upcoming season as exhibited through the works of selected top designers.
Paris, Milan, London, New York and Tokyo are the bellwether locations for today’s fashions. During the week long events held in each city, the media and press are given first-looks into the styles, fabrics and details which will drive the trends for the rest of the industry.
Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week – TOKYO (MBFWT) is hosted by the Japan Fashion Week Organization (JFW Organization) and held twice a year in March and October. Venue locations included the Shibuya Hikarie (Tokyo) and the Mercedes-Benz Connection in Roppongi.
46 fashion labels participated in MBFWT’s runway show with the finale occurring on Sunday, March 22nd.
