Happy Thanksgiving

Image & Style Magazine

Thanksgiving – the holiday of good intentions.

Had it not been for a Native American who had escaped English slavery, the pilgrims might have starved in New England. Instead, he taught them how to cultivate an unknown grain (corn), collect sap from trees, catch the local fish and avoid poisonous plants.

Come to think of it, modern day Thanksgiving is a lot like the olden days. Without the local grocery store we all would most likely be experiencing a day of unwelcome fasting.

For the fortunate, food is plentiful, family is invited, prayers are offered (in the hope that nobody starts a fight), stomachs are stuffed, football is watched and everyone goes their separate ways until next year.

Here at image and Style Magazine we are thankful that we have the support of our contributors, friends, family…and most of all our readers. It would be senseless to put as much effort as we do into a publication if it never got read.

Thank you for spurring us on to the bigger and better as we continue to create this one of a kind place for artists to display and promote their works.

Best Wishes,
Gracie
