“The Inaugural “Premios Los Angeles” Golden Angel Award” celebrated the accomplishments of contemporary Latino talent.  Host and Best Pop-Rock Nominee Alek Syntek co-hosted  the event with  Lucy Garcia.

The Award show Premios  Los Angeles was taped May 28th at the Ace Hotel in Los Angeles, CA. and televised on June 1st via Tu Mundo Fox.

Nominees were selected based on their social media presence and winners were selected by the fans.

The awards ceremony opened with a performance by La Santa Cecilia. Winners Included Luis Coronel  for New Comer of the Year, and Alex Rivera for Composer of The Year. Special honors  went to : Julio César Chávez, for his career in the world of boxing; Gil Cedillo for his work in the Latino community; Pepe Garza, for his contribution to the world of radio and regional Mexican music in the United States; and Ramón Ayala, for his 50-year contribution to the music industry.

Performers included Luis Coronel, Voz de Mando, Ramón Ayala, and Enrique Bunbury.
