Italian Showcase-Concorso Italiano

(August 15,2015) – Concorso Italiano is the Italian-focused event during Monterey Car Week where Ferraris, Lamborghinis, Maseratis, Alfa Romeos and every other high-level, Italian-built dream machine flaunts their sophisticated lines for the adoring public. Beauty and design through the ages was on offer as both factory fresh and vintage cars preened on the fairways of the Black Horse Golf Course in Monterey, California.

Sunny weather with a goodly share of unseasonable heat greeted the Saturday throngs as they strolled amidst the parked automobiles and beverage/food tents. It seems as if the organizers try – and succeed – in out-doing their previous year’s efforts…which make our job of covering the event so much more enjoyable. Over 850 entrants participated in this year’s Concourso with next year’s number expected to swell given the event’s ever-growing popularity.
