Los Angeles, CA, October 5, 2016 -LA, IVY (www.ivy.com) hosted an intimate evening with entertainment mogul Brian Grazer, as a part of its Entrepreneur Night series at The Greenhouse at PLATFORM complex, overlooking the Hollywood Hills and breathtaking views of the city, where members and guests, ranging from entrepreneurs to influencers, enjoyed complimentary cocktails and beverages sponsored by UPTIME Energy, and bites provided by Michelin Star Chef-prepared meal delivery service, CRATEFUL, while awaiting the guest of honor.

Following a pre-event reception, Tracy DiNunzio, the founder of Tradesy, the world’s leading peer-to-peer marketplace for women’s fashion, moderated the fireside chat with Grazer. As an artist-turned-entrepreneur, she bootstrapped the business in its early days by renting out her bedroom on Airbnb and sleeping on the couch, and today, Tradesy has over 100 team members, 5 million customers, and has attracted funding from top-tier investors like Kleiner Perkins and Richard Branson.

IVY CEO & co-Founder, Beri Meric, shared, “Tracy embodies everything IVY is about – pioneering entrepreneurs forging new paths. She has a dynamic personality, a disruptive and creative business, and brings a fresh perspective. By changing the way people purchase luxury goods, and also thereby extending the lifetime of the items, Tradesy is very eco-conscientious and a step towards changing the future of retail and fashion. Tonight we are honored to host two brilliant entrepreneurial minds.”

Over the years, Grazer’s films and TV shows have been nominated for a total of 43 Oscars® and 162 Emmys – titles including FOX’s Empire, Arrested Development, A Beautiful Mind, American Gangster, Apollo 13, and Frost/Nixon, and his movies have generated more than $13 billion in worldwide grosses. Grazer is on the short list of producers with a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame, and he and his creative partner of 30 years, Ron Howard, just released “The Beatles: Eight Days a Week.”

With an upcoming projects including a Mars miniseries on NatGeo, a sure-to-be-hilarious show in the works with NBA superstar Blake Griffin and a writer from The Late Late Show, as well as the remake of Splash, starring Channing Tatum, the IVY Entrepreneur Night talk focused on Grazer’s creative process, experience of breaking into entertainment industry, and the inspiration behind his recent New York Times bestselling book, “A Curious Mind: The Secret to a Bigger Life.”
