My Time Is Now Brandon Rios:

We caught up with Brandon Rios in late October to see how he was doing prior to his scheduled fight in November. He held his first ever meet and greet for his many supporters and to raise funds for two organizations: Padres contra El Cancer and Momentum 4 Life.

Fans, family and friends enjoyed the gourmet taco, desert, margarita and champagne bars while
Brandon signed boxing-related memorabilia. Copies of the upcoming fight’s poster as well as the cover of Image & Style Magazine’s September issue (featuring Brandon) were given to those in attendance.

The setting was the beautiful Bogies Restaurant & Lounge in Westlake Village. The water features and park-like setting within the larger complex which includes the Westlake Village Inn, the Mediterranean restaurant and Stonehaus wine club gave one the feeling of being in Europe. Much credit goes to Brandon’s PR specialist Nancy Rodriguez for the selection of the venue and overall organization of a flawless event.

The Beneficiaries:

Padres contra El Cancer (http://www.iamhope.org) is committed to improving the quality of life for Latino children with cancer and their families. For more than 26 years, Padres has worked with the Latino community who have a higher risk of medical problems due to a series of complex factors, including language barriers, socio-economic challenges and limited access to community resources.

Momentum 4 Life http://momentum4life.com/ seeks to empower every individual to make a difference in themselves, their family and their community. They assist participant teams who wish to challenge themselves, train for an athletic event or work together to give back to their community.

Image & Style Magazine would like to thank Brandon and his team for inviting us to such a lovely event and wish him well in his upcoming challenge.
