Stallone Pays Surprise Visit

Sylvester Stallone Paid a surprise visit to (WBO) junior welterweight champion Chris Algieri during his final appearance in Los Angeles on November 6th 2014. With a room of guest media.

Algieri will face off against Fighter of the Decade and reigning WBO welterweight champion Manny “Pac-man” Pacquiao at The Venetian in Macao China. Chris Algieri (20-0, 8 KOs), from Huntington, and Long Island, holds a Bachelor Science degree in Health Care Management, a Masters degree in Clinical Nutrition and a Ph.D.

Algieri, spent the first four weeks of training camp in New York, but recently relocated to Las Vegas for intensive training and conditioning for the remaining six weeks in preparation for his battle against eight-division world champion Manny
Pacquiao.

Joining Algieri at the press conference included WBO featherweight champion VASYL LOMACHENKO, World Boxing Association (WBA) super lightweight champion JESSIE VARGAS and his new trainer, former four-division world champion ROY JONES, JR., China’s most iconic athlete, undefeated Top-Five flyweight contender and two-time Olympic gold medalist ZOU SHIMING and Hall of Fame promoter BOB ARUM. Lomachenko and Vargas will be defending their titles while Zou fights in a world title elimination bout on the Pacquiao-Algieri world welterweight championship pay-per-view portion of the undercard.

Actor Sylvester Stallone from the hit movie Rocky made a surprise visit. He briefly and wished Chris Algieri luck on his upcoming fight.

The press conference took Thursday at the Conga Room in Los Angeles. and was Streamed Live at 3:30 p.m. ET / 12:30 p.m. PT, via www.toprank.tv.
