The Eat Drink SF is an event that will help to expose the great restaurants in San Francisco. Young talented chefs in San Francisco are featured in this event, giving us delicious and some very luxurious samples, foie gras from Hudson Valley Foie Gras, and the pricey caviar from Tsar Nicoulai. Some Wineries, breweries, and distilleries were also participants in this event. Also in the event were two very prominent chefs doing cooking demonstrations – Chef Dominque Crenn from Atelier Crenn and Chef Roland Passot from La Folie and Left Bank Restaurant. Chef Dominque Crenn focused on new cooking techniques in the event, from making tomato water, fermenting melon to vinegar and even the use of liquid nitrogen. While Chef Roland Passot prepared the classic seafood dish from Marseille, France- Bouillabaise. Both chefs gave advice on cooking techniques and also promoted and advocated to use seasonal local products. The master of ceremony was KTVU Channel 2 Sal Castaneda.
