The Angels travelled to London this year to strut the runway and show us the latest from the House of Victoria. The themes this year included: Gilded Angels, Exotic Traveller, Dream Girl, University of Pink, Fairy Angel and Angel Ball. A digital runway and backdrop color-coordinated with each outfit and pulsed to the beat. Musical guests included Taylor Swift, Ed Sheeran, Ariana Grande and Hozier. Our impressions:
Gilded Angels – Gold-drenched couture, bold embroidery and delicate beading. Lifting your girls to new heights! Wispy panties offer but a gossamer film of modesty. When you are in a gifting mood.
Exotic Traveller – An adventure using vibrant fabrics, unique texture and sparkling jewels. Colors so bold you’ll think you’ve fallen into a vat of fiesta. Attention jewel tone wearers – this is worth a look.
Dream Girl – Playful looks and push-up silhouettes decked in lace…based on a powder-puff palette. More of the recognizable pieces like bustier, teddies and slips. You don’t need to shout to make a statement.
University of Pink – Urban Street chic in colorful patterns with graphic prints. Dorm clothing du jour meant to emphasize the youthful, toned body. Over 30 at your own risk.
Fairy Angel – Flowing frocks in earthy tones topped with iridescent details. You know you’ve a good girl and this line allows you to present yourself at your feminine best. Lace and mesh in just the right balance.
Angel Ball – Get serious with seductive mixes of black on white and tulle mixes with tuxedo details. When you are on the hunt, these are the items closest to your skin. When sensual foes wish to strike serious poses, accept no substitute.
