Legend Jerry Rice

Over his 20 year career in football, Hall-of-Fame Wide Receiver Jerry Rice became the NFL record holder for career receptions, career receiving yards, career touchdown receptions and career points. His reputation as a hard worker and for his dedication to the game stands as a model for all future sportsman.

Now nearly 10 years into his retirement, he is still involved in the community and promoting healthy activities for youth. On March 16th, St. Ignatius College Preparatory in San Francisco, California played host to Mr. Rice’s annual youth football camp as organized by ProCamps Worldwide and sponsored by Citibank. Participants were instructed in fundamental football skills and had the opportunity to meet and interact with the former pro. Each camper received an autograph from Jerry and a team photo with Jerry.

Rice was on-site to direct the event and was joined by a selection of prep and college coaches from the area. Attendance was limited to the sons and daughters of Citi ThankYou Cardmembers in grades 1 through 8 as part of the Citi Private Pass program.
